I love the concept but am worried that it makes the beak look savage the way it is now. Is there another version of your concept that would soften the look of the bird while keeping your idea of placing the Aussie map in the beak definiton. This could even be done more subtle by using a stylistic version of the map shape perhaps that doesnt make the beak look agressive. I like the concept you have created.
