Here are some comments: #1: I like the font chosen, but there's something about either the color combination or the border that doesn't give me a 'modern' feel to this design. Id really like to logo to give the sophisticated/chic/modern feel. #2: The concept of the hand is relevant, however, I think this particular design looks like a deer or antelope at first glance to me.
