Greetings! I'm very happy with you for your efforts in this design contest. Thank you. This is the design that I choose. I ask, please give fully editable .ai file. I will need to be able to easily delete the plane streaks, move the heads and change colors.
This would also include the .eps, jpg and png files of various sizes.
#253 is the other version that i will need these same files for just in case as a backup.
How will I contact you after the contest?
I have a need for 2-3 more logos and plan to start the next one very soon. I hope you will join again.
I received more feedback from my t-shirt printers. Let's work with this one making a few more minor changes. Increase the thickness of the two outer circles slightly. Connect the heads of the people to their bodies so that there is no black space between them. The black space under the bird and above the green might be an issue. It needs to be more space. Let's see what you come up with. Let me know if any of this is unclear. Thanks
Great job. I'm going to check on #232 and #233 with my t-shirt printer. I should be able to let you know in about two hours. Will you be available at that time? If not, what time works?
Make the overall size of this one larger like #222. Remove the border around the plane and the lines going off the continent. Change the bird to one solid color with no hole for the eye or in the neck/body. Make its tail feathers smooth and solid. Lastly, make the space between its legs wider. I'm going to check if this new one would work on t shirts.
We are getting closer. Leave the sankofa the same size and increase the size of everything else so that the design takes up more space from edge to edge. I hope this is clear. I don't want the sankofa bird to cover up the people. We may need to delete them from the bottom portion of the circle. Let's see.
Great. I'm very happy with this design. As long as I can edit the colors and print on shirts I don't see how any design will move to first. This is totally your competition to win!
Overall the changes require the design and certain elements to be larger: 1) the details of the bird (legs, eyes, designs on the body) are too small to be cut and printed and need to be enlarged. 2) The outline of the plane is too thin and needs to be enlarged or removed 3) The trails of the plane outside of Africa are too thin and need to be enlarged. Once we get all this right we will need to do the same thing to other versions. Does this make sense?
I just got off the phone with my t-shirt printer. A few changes have to be made in order to print the design using the flex printing method. Here is a link for more information: https://help.spreadshirt.com/hc/en-us/articles/206775719
this version of the color of the African continent matches the background color except for the black background, the thick black color surrounding Africa must be changed manually
what if I made several versions with colors that match the background color, the version for the dark / light background color, specifically for printing needs
I get why #179 is a better fit as a simpler design. I still like this version more. How would I manipulate the colors as needed on my own with this version to go back and forth between #172 and #179?
I think I understand. Some of my team members felt the earlier designs did not bring enough attention to the Africa in terms of the borders. How might you address that?
my suggestion is to still use three colors without using the background color into the logo, for example #174 and #175
this is the first concept before in number #137, #138 and #139
#173 this is for example when taking the 4th color according to the color where the logo will be printed, it will be less good when printed on a shirt with the exact same color as the logo
I have a meeting with my attorney today to decide if this company will be LLC or not. Let me see this design with the sankofa bird where LLC appears just in case we remove it. Thanks
overall diameter size of the logo in this image is 2 inches (in 1000 x 800 pixel images), but it can be resized without reduce the quality (vector only), so the smaller diameter of the line at this size is 0,02 inches it can be thicker depend on the size of the logo
I'll be using the design I select on business cards, websites, social media and apparel. These are some of the requirements from my t-shirt printer. Is the following true about this design?
Lines and other parts of the design must have a diameter of at least 0.06 inches.
Maximum 3 colors: we can print up to three colors when plotter printing.
Please create each color in your design as a separate layer.
All objects and text to be printed must be converted into paths.
Make sure that all curves are completely closed and do not overlap each other.
#137#138#139 all help me to see how this would look in different settings. Thanks! This will be hard to top. I will keep looking to find ways to improve before my team votes.
I like it alot! and I'm still curious about how this one and the white will look on a shirt. I have an account with spreadsheet and I wonder if this vector will work there.
I like this one a lot. I prefer 100% saturation on the green. Make it darker/deeper. What would this look like without yellow? My shirt printer only allows 3 colors. The fourth comes from the shirt itself. The yellow is nice but makes 4 colors plus the shirt. Keep this one and let me see another version. Thanks.
Thanks for your submission. I this design concept. I prefer 100% saturation on the green. For the people, I'd like to see a version with them all red and green and their heads all black. Thanks.
