Hi - my logo is simple & rustic to emphasis the artisanal nature of a wood-fired oven and hand-made bread. If there are any changes you'd like to see, please just let me know. :)
I like it. Your are now rank 3 rd. I don't know if we can improve on it. I only have 23 min left in my contest. We really have to look hard at the lettering to figure out the name. I would like to see it outside the oven so we could see it cleaner.
Unless you're planning on ending it early, there's still the "Top 5" / second phase. That's where the top 5 ranked designers can continue working. I usually enter towards the end so that I don't encourage "accidental borrowing" by other designers :)
I'll work on making the type stand out a little more both inside & outside of the oven. My thoughts with putting it inside the oven was, firstly, to make a more cohesive & unified mark, rather than an image with some words stuck underneath (if that makes sense?) and secondly, I thought that having the type in place of the bread symbolizes you really owning the product. That's it's not just LABELED as your product, but that your skill IS the product. (Sorry if I lost ya...it all makes sense in my head, I promise hahaha)
Here's a different font. #92 shows how the font can work as a single color for possible as a large watermark on packaging (could look cool printed large on brown, kraft bags)
