Hello, Here is the logo I came up with for Paddle4Tomorrow! I took your idea of denoting the 4 elements: earth, wind, water, fire and I represented them with 4 colors inside the circle in the middle of my design. I then put oars around it to denote the paddling persepective. And finally, I gave the words the motion of waves to really bring it all together. I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Thanks!
Great job! Way to bring it all together! Although I like the color spaces representing the colors, the client is looking for something a little less abstract to represent the elements. Any thoughts on that? Aside from that, the paddles, the 4, the waves, color, etc. is great!
I am still working on some new ideas/visuals for the elements. In the meantime, here is the logo with a solid circle, just so you can compare with the other!...
Here is another idea I came up with: this one is much more literal, in terms of representing the 4 elements. Rolling waves, green/brown earth, flames, and then open sky (wind)! I will post a close-up of just the middle icon so that you can see it better.
Thanks for the feedback on your work! Still liking number 6 the most. We'd love to see something a bit less abstract to represent the elements (unless it becomes to busy) possibly circling the 4? We found some stock are that was close but they are too busy...
Here is another potential idea I came up with, which still maintains everything within the circle! Each drop-like shape (or a leaf in the case of Earth) contains one of the 4 elements.
#13 is close to what they (really, really) want but the elements are not working behind the 4. If you can somehow surround the 4 elements behind the circle in #7, then there still may be a chance this one will be selected.
Fixed the icon so that the fire portion stands out better and is more legible at a smaller size. I wish I could show the actual file to you, as it is much easier to see when in a non-preview mode!
Thanks for the revisions but squeezing the elements inside the circle is still too busy. If you can come up with a way to incorporate simple illustrations or icons for the elements surrounding the circle (instead of inside of it) then we will be (more) than happy to vote this into first place.
