I kind of like this design but the feedback I have received is that it looks more like a medical or biotech logo as the icon looks like a chemical compound or molecule.
Can you try something else , also I have added an update on the colours in the general post that may also help.
Personally I like the green and purple but people are saying the maybe the purple needs to be a more conservative colour so I am thinking a royal blue and adding in a gold to the green.
