Thanks for your message - it is late and I'm about to log off. If you'd like to see any tweaks to the design, please leave me a note and I'll work on it tomorrow morning.
We are on our way to a camping trip right now. We get back this Sunday. I will select the logo then. I don't want to do it away from my home just incase something goes wrong and I can download properly. So if it's ok with you, I will be in touch in a couple of days and we can finish this process?
Pantone Yellow 012 C
RGB 255 215 O
HEX/HTML FFD700
CMYK 0 2 98 0
We understand that it won't be exact... but as close as you can get. We are going to select #137 as our winning logo. If we could can we also get the #133 file?
We are so happy with the logo that you designed for us. Thank you so much for all of the changes. You have been so pleasant to work with. This has been a really great experience. THANK YOU!
The light gray hex code is cccccc and the dark gray is 848689. The conversion from hex code to Pantone is not always exact, but I believe the closest equivalents are:
I have uploaded the revisions - please see #133 and #134.
As for being torn - because they are variations on essentially the same design, if you ultimately decide this is the right logo for you, it's no trouble at all to provide a set of files for both.
It's around 11:30pm here and I am about to log off. If you would like to see any variations to any of these designs, please leave me a message and I will work on them first thing tomorrow.
Please see #131, which is the same as #129, but with the eye added.
#130 is the solid gray version. I retained the highlights, but redrew them, as the original highlights were shaped to specific contours, which were lost when the lighter gray was removed.
I am also going to upload a variation to #130, with the highlights in white.
Ok that is what were where thinking. So maybe to avoid confusion could we work with his features? Maybe lengthen the horn a little bit, or shorten the neck creases, or add an eye.... We are open to any of these. We really like the simplicity of the Ox and don't want to lose that.
Hello and thanks for all your feedback and guidance. It's been fun developing this idea with you.
As for the horns - I have never noticed this illusion! :) The bull was drawn in profile with one horn visible. The first crease under the chin is the where the head meets the neck; and the second crease is intended to help define the shoulder.
I can re-work these features to make this intent clearer if you prefer.
Hi,
Thanks for all the changes. We are excited to be working on this logo with you. So a couple of our friends see the Ox differently and we aren't sure the answer.
Is the Ox head a profile with one horn on top and two lines for a neck roll?
Is his head turn towards the front with two horns facing down?
Or is the two lines on the neck his ear?
Not sure your intention when drawling this. If we have a choice we would want it be a profile with the horn on top.
Also, I will look into the color number we are wanting to use. Close to the one your showing us. Thanks again for all your help.
I have uploaded a few variations - if you see anything you would like tweaked, or have another direction you would like me to explore, please let me know.
Hi Steve,
If you have time could I see a couple changes...Could I maybe see this as a circle or rectangle? Change the font to something closer to your #54. And an option of the OX not standing on a line. I know it's coming to the end, so whatever you have time for. Thanks!
I am online for most of the day so, if you would like to see any modifications to this, whether shape, font selection or color scheme, I should be able to create them pretty quickly.
I like sans serif styles but also open to typewriter styles as well. Also, I would prefer bold or regular font. Is it possible to straighten the line the Ox is standing on and maybe see a different shade of color? Not so bold maybe? Thank you so much for your time!

About to select #138. If possible could you provide me with the font you used? If not, that's ok.
Thanks again for all your help. We are really happy with our logo!

We are back from our camping trip. I'm sure it is late your time. Maybe in the morning or sometime tomorrow we can finish up.
Just wanted to send a quick note to keep in touch.

I will upload a version with this yellow so you have a visual record.
I'll just be a couple of minutes.

Ok, can we use Pantone Yellow 012 C for the "OX".

So we are trying to figure out our yellow/orange color for "OX". Are you able to tell me what the two gray colors are in Pantone?

Can we keep the outline of the body dark gray. Fill the body with light gray. And keep the white highlights?
Thank you!

Could we also make the yellow/orange background white. But keep the color for the word "OX".
Thank you for all your help. We are really excited about our new logo!

So I like #129 a lot. Could I see it with an eye added and solid gray. Whenever you have time. Thanks

I have uploaded two variations - #128 ad #129.
In #128, I've added an eye and in #129, I've remodelled the shoulder, removing the second crease.
Do either or both resolve the bull's pose, or do you still see the illusion?

Also, could we see him as a solid gray?
Thanks!

Can we have the tail down more. And can the yellow/orange color be filled in with grey? But keep the white highlight. Thanks!

Do any of the fonts and/or colors work better for you?

I cannot create the revision right now as I am away from my computer, but I will do it as soon as I can.
In the meantime, do you have particular typographic style in mind (e.g. serif or sans serif, script or handwritten, upright or italic, thin or bold)?
Best regards,
Steve
