#53 is fabulous! creative- iconic- nice trademark look for us.... now could you tweak the colors a bit? make them pop....purples, oranges,greens,yellows....fun and bright thanks so very much Reese
(did you take a look at the website we posted to see the product?
Thanks, am glad you liked it and felt / caught the concept am after with this creative icon and how it could be used with the brand name ( wordmark logo ) and alone ( pictorial logo ) .
I actually did take a look at your website, and that is why i've put on mind when designing this iconic mark with making sure i have the necklaces around the dog and it being colorful too,
Now i also noticed that you will have different departments , you can use this icon to have it in different colors with different tags to simply refer to your sub brands / departments from under neath the main one.
Will do coloring tweaks now to this version to make it pop out in a fun and bright way.
PS : love your products so much, they are very creative and super cute, i believe your business will grow big soon, its a very smart and creative idea and specialization too and the market / target audience for your products will be huge and guaranteed too. Wish you all the best luck really.
Oh Daz this is wonderful! Especially #58. Thank you for your compliments and good wishes. The effort in so much thought toward our product and message is most appreciated. You are just the best. I will communicate more tomorrow after my partner takes a look.
Kareem, I am loving the logo! You are such an artist! THis is Reese partner and what i would like to see on your last piece is a cleaner, stronger looking dog. The wonderful head/bone and his neckware are not distinct enough for me especially when we are talking the label that we attach to our product. Excellent and wonderful though you got it! D
Would work on it now, refining it and making the neck ware more prominent should be an easy fix to this icon i've created.
As you know the good thing about this icon, it can be used with the word as main and on smaller objects, you can simply use the icon on its own as its unique and relate it to your brand name with full word.
I'm glad that you and your partner are very pleased with the outcome. Let me know your thoughts on how you want to brand your other departments " policeman / fireman / etc " and in what colors, so i can try to show you the best suggestion for that with the logo.
I am thinking right now the one ranked as first, #78 is perfect....I like # 80 as the black and white version and # 79 is the perfect icon....we can use all or part of the script for cards and advertisement. The icon you created has universal appeal, which is what we wanted....It has been great fun and most rewarding working with you.
My wish would be that we do not lose this relationship, as I am sure your understanding of our needs would be something we we want to lean on in the near future.
I'm glad that you saw my long run vision on this one and felt my understanding and aim behind it. You are right that each one could be used best for different way of advertising. #78 is perfect for website / business card / your main gift / wrap bags , etc
#79 as the icon to be branded on some other advertisements will be great and strong too.
And you feel safe about using it in its black and white version ( monotone ) as well.
As for the work relationship, i always make sure its at its best and my client complete satisfaction and most important the continuing customer service. This you should not worry about, if you wanted my advice / vision on anything, i'd be glad to answer those at anytime since you'd be one of my clients i'd be pleasured to have on my long growing list. Also most of my clients are based in USA as well and i'd be glad to reefer any your way to hear about their experience with me during and after the contest.
Dear Kareem, After receiving opinions from staff and independent sources the ranking changed. As you know you have been my front runner. The comments on the icon you created (and I loved) was that the dog looked like a C not an O.
I don't know if you feel like another creation. Take a look at the publicly posted comments and let me know. I still feel that you were the first one to truly 'get it' ....and was hoping that your positive energy we would keep with us.
Not sure why some saw the icon as a " C " and not an " O " , will re-work it to find a fix for that and make the " O " clear without losing the icon i created.
#138 , #139 AND #140 , rotating it fixed the confusion with the letter " C " , now it will be read as an " O " without a confusion with any other letters and also this position of dog face moving from bottom to upwards is good and positive.
Good thing about me, is that i do not give up easily, now i did a lot of detailed changes and that is why i submitted the larger version to check them clearly and show over to your team.
Here #150
i did the following to make sure it looks like an " O " straight on.
1. I've closed it as a perfect circle by making the tail shorter and the end of tail is just about the rounded nose of the dog, therefore very minimal gap that is hardly noticed = complete full circle = " O "
2. I've made the legs bigger and clearer / the neck ware / fixed the balance of colors and the eyes too, so that over all it pops out stronger as it is now.
Now here you can see it in the wordmark #151
Hope this was the proper refinement to my icon mark that you felt national and would work in many different effective ways.
