I'm really liking the solving a puzzle idea since this suggests that we are thinking about solutions. #145 - I'm thinking of a couple of variations. One the colors in the text. I've been struggling with what you are doing on this with a few variations for different designers. When "of the" is a more subtle color I'm reading "Out Box" which somehow feels like "Out House" in my mind. Not what we are going for. Also I'm hoping to see some variations where the words "Box Office" are together. It's an interesting play on words because "Box Office" sounds like a big budget flick at the theatre.
Also some variation on the image position relative to the text. So far I've be been preferring the image to be left of the text however different image positions relative to the text would be awesome!
Still trying to figure out how to say "Out of the Box Office" with an idea of minimizing the idea of Box... Not sure but it seems you've got a good handle on how to think "Outside the Box" so I'm throwing it out there.
Just a brainstorm here but maybe there is a way to take the letters in box and use them as the basis for a puzzle.
Anyway #151 is starting to grow on me a bit more. It seems my idea of keeping Box and Office together doesn't work as well but I am seeing how a stronger "Out Of The Box" on one line allows the second line to be stronger as well "Office Corporation" on some competitive logos. I'm wondering about taking #151 and strengthening / darkening the logo and text in general will strengthen the "Office Corporation" as well.
Don't worry about the puzzle pieces. It was just an idea and no idea how to get them to fit together to begin with...
No worries... Thanks for trying! I've just re-ranked #151 #1 on Friend Feedback. Thinking the iterations I mentioned above will nail it. Bolding up the logo and text a bit and playing with logo position (left of text) could work very well. Also blocking the upper right of the maze like you did in other designs might be a nice touch.
plays on a maze enter from one side and break free on ht eopposite side....this part is very abstract but the maze is is OBO with "b" in the middle. I could move the right open space down a wee bit to make a C
Gotta keep you on your toes :D - It's very interesting with all the different inputs and discussions we are having internally and what strikes ones fancy at any given moment. Just trying to mix things up based on current emotional trends relative to different designs and what we are trying to accomplish.
I probably mentioned as well the logo should look good on the outside of a building, on the exterior of a large open space office, on a business plan and a business card. Thinking about all the different locations.
Also getting some feedback on how it should also have some green components in the logo. Maybe the escaping dot is green vs red or black.
colours can be adjusted at anytime...this stage of the contest should be about design first..the maze would make visually interesting sign....especially if you have it animated to show the dot moving out of the box..think old school neon...but instead replaced with LED lighting.
