Hi, here is my submissions #1, #2, #3, #5. Hopefully pleased. Please feel free to contact me for any requests. And please let me know if you need any changes/modification. Thanks
Thank you for your work. The entry 3 is nice because it gives a impression of mouvement, but entry 2 is the basic of what we were hoping to get.
A few things: - If you look at the "O" of the original logo, it isn't totally round... can you try to rework the orange side of the ball in order to get the same feeling that on the "o" (to have a more harmonious logo) Can you try to get a more metalic grey, almost inox.
- After that if you want to try to take entry 2 and include it in a grey metalic tag and include the brand on a other orange ball (as the brand of the ball) then we will probably know if our idea was good or not.
Thanks for your feedback. Now I am doing the revisions on it like your great direction. And I will come up with the revisions ASAP shortly. Have a nice day... Thanks
OK. Here's my updates #16, #17, #18, #19 for the revisions like your direction. Please let me know if you need any other changes/revision on it. Thanks
The number 19 is the one closest to what we have in mind for now.
Here are some more instructions for what we would ideally see added:
- The football needs to be reworked a bit (still in orange) so that its lines are not so visible against the “Oulala” writings. We think it looks too much like a basketball right now. - The “Oulala” inside the football needs to be a bit smaller - No need for now to write the logo under the “Oulala” - We would like to see the “Oulala” within an inox-like gray background. The letters themselves will be orange, but the background would be gray. (still inside the orange football) - Also, within the small football of the “O” of Oulala, we would like to see, in very small, the writing “Oulala” again, to create this famous “mise en abyme” effect.
We would like to see some changes on your entry # 3:
- if you go back to the original logo that we uploaded within the brief, you can see the "O" of the "Oulala" is inclined a bit, just like the other letters. Could you try to add the same effect with the football, used a "O"?
OK. I will submit all the revision in couple of hours. Thanks for believe me to do all the revision. I will give my best for your logodesign contest. Thanks
Hello and thank you again for your time and creativity.
Can you try to put a more metalic grey on the inside of the ball and the letters on entry #3
One of my concern is that people will read ulala (not understanding that the ball is an "O"). Maybe you could try to include in each letter the drawing on the ball (polygon and lines). Only on entry#3
I still like the idea of entry#44 but I think their is a problem of lisibility of the name, because of the ball... the polygon (specialy the one on the top) does not makes it easy to read the logo)... Ideas are more than welcome
When showing the logo to friends, it seems that some people read "ulala" instead of "Oulala"... they don't realize the ball is an "O". Could you please try to include the original "O" and include the ball eslewhere ont the logo.
Can you please try to put the inside of the "O" on the side (like on the original logo) on #68 and #69 (those are the one whitout the tag that we preffer).
Regarding the colours, can you also try to put the orange of #82 (for example)... with less red in it.
We do thing a bit strange that one of the octogon on the ball is a very diferent orange. Maybe you could try different options on the ball (like putting only orange line on the ball, and metalic grey inside the octogon)...
Again thank you for the time and energy you are spending on our logo.
I do apologize I'm late. Now is judging mode. Only 1st ranked designer has access to submit any entries. As you know I've finished with my any updates with revision based on your last request. But I can't upload them in this judging mode. If you want my revision you can move my design to the 1st rank. After I submit you can re-arrange the rank. Thanks
Thank you for your new submissions. Here are a few suggestions, taking your #106 as a base: - we'd like to see a logo without the 2 bands under the Oulala writing, since it might be a bit too loaded. - regarding the football: this size seems good. Now, we'd like to see logos where the football is placed at different positions (still behind and above the Oulala writing), to check the different effects - regarding the "Oulala" letters: we would also like to see how the logo looks without the letters and the space between them filled in orange
