Hello

My idea was to include a bit of everything, from the hill to the apples and of course the cows. :)

For the font, I wanted to separate the font so the color would emphasize the "herd" so it would be understood that it is a deliberate spelling. The herd is also emphasized by by Holstein tucked neatly under that portion of the word Orc-herd-hill so the the eye catches herd Holstein but still reads correctly. Your feedback would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi

Saw your comment about wanting a more realistic cow. Is there a particular cow, you are proud about and would like to see it illustrated? If so and you own full rights to the photo, I could illustrate it for the logo. I would just need a link to the photo and acknowledgment that the photo is your with full rights of usage.

Thanks

Hi,

Just a couple of changes we would like to see: we like the will in entry #66, but we would really like to see "orcherdhill" maroon, not green. Also we want to see somewhere the words "Breeding Red and White Polled Holsteins." Lastly, we want people to know we are from Troy, Pa, so if that could be added too we would really appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Sorry, just one more thing! Is there any way you could make the circle everything is in into an apple. Just an idea because we want to bring out more of our orchard in the logo. Thanks again!

Please let me know if you need to see the logo with reduced amount of colors. But keep in mind that it is actually less expensive to do full color printing than even 1 or more spot colors. I mention this because, in my own business (see my profile), I see too many clients limiting themselves because of the old notion that more colors means higher costs (that was true over 10 years ago but no longer because of printing technology. Today the opposite is true.)

Please let me know if you need to see any other changes: colors, fonts...

Thanks!
