Here is one of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
With the icon, I've combined the tree and a beaker ... But the beaker is subtle - its actually the base of the tree in the middle, you'll see curved lines coming into the centre, plus at the top of it (or middle of icon), you'll see the lip on either side of the beaker. Hope that made sense :)
The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,

Thanks for the submission. It really is striking, I like the font selection, as I am really into modern and sleek fonts. I really think you're on to something with this design. My feedback would be that its a little busy, I appreciate the complexity, but can you try to stream line it a bit? I like that the beaker is very subtle so that is a huge plus. I am not fond of the super obvious beaker imagery.
