Wow! Eye popping. Really cool. Very contemporary design. Very out of the box. Good: Eye shape is highly original. Would look awesome on dark background items. Modern look does tie in well with our high tech field. Love the colors. Love the 3-dimensionality. Love the simplicity. Possible improvements: No link to "OC" in logo. Can somehow incorporate without disrupting the simplicity? Might be difficult to place on white background items (paper, letterhead, etc.). Possible to make a version with light or white background? A little bit of disconnect between Ophthalmology and Institute. Ordinarily the Ophth and Inst would go together, and to separate them may disrupt the message that we're trying to get across: we're an ophthalmology institute, and we're located in orange county. There are many ophthalmology offices, but only a few that could be called an institute. I initially loved the text placement-- it really forces you to focus on the ophthalmology word and I love that-- but it also creates a more generic feel.
