Hi ysonmez. also wanted to ask if you could try a graded background to the text going in the opposite direction? might be interesting to see the effect.
liek the backgrounds, really punches out the text :) out of interest if you graded from the right to the left, going from Blue to Orange (so inverse to the text) would that work?
not sure how that works as a logo on a site or papers, how would you suggest a coloured background be implemented (or would you only use it in certain formats/contexts?)
Actually colour backgrounds r generally uses for websites, brochures etc. White background versions r more suitable for stationery, t-shirts etc.
It's better to ask winning designer all kind of backgrounds or non background versions and after u've selected your logo. Designer has to provide all u need.
I mean, with background or not it's the same logo:)
Btw, I'm working on for the revisions right now and i'll submit them asap.
27 seems to to be getting all the kudos from friends and family :)
feedback was positive on the formatting, although some feedback is that the open is a bit lost with the focus of the logo thus far on the mojo bit so much!
have you played around much with the number of dots above the J? just thinking about a cloud/stream/flow of some sort linking back to the Open?
#26 - feedback is that the background is too strong and the mohican is a bit too much. could you go for a geekier look with the character, but keep him smiling!
