This first concept is a little more abstract. It forms an O and an S with a leaf to represent outside...and a water drop to show cleanliness. It is as I say more abstract, but the logo is very recognizable and stands out from the normal cliched logos that seem to dominate industries like yours.
I'm in Panama City Beach, I had a hard time getting logos in until the last minute, which makes it difficult, but I do like you Abstract O S thats interesting. Work on that idea as everything else is good except it is like every other entry. Also provide a black and white version once you have changed around the O S, My problem with color is I like it but most of the colors I have chosen in the past only look good on black shirts, you being from Jacksonville should know Florida's heat index can be miserable, especially wearing black shirts. Wish your idea was submitted sooner, but maybe there is time to get your ideas in anyway. I see you have won many Gold awards so good luck! I will be checking back as often as I can. I have no idea how to "extend the contest" or I would. I am picky about my logo As I want something different yet simple that stands out from the crowd.
ps wondering how your OS logo concept would look with Cap Fonts and or outline with a thin black line to set the design apart from any shirt color except black, hmmm, just a thought

I know all about the heat. My family has been in the fence business in Jacksonville and also in west central Florida, for over 40 years. I spent years in the family business along the gulf coast and know far to well how hot it can be....I used a black background and trim to help the designs "pop" off of cooler lighter shirts. They still have the feel of a black background but work on white/light shirts. It also gives the palms and house a feeling of silhouette against the sunset.

On # 68 can you straighten up the S inside the O so it stands out more? what else in that concept can be done to make it pop more?

I did notice that, very creative, but not to crazy about it, however I really like entry #140 and #141 which I didn't notice a big difference between them, but those are my favorite I think from your submissions so far, if you lose hidden one, and add any final touches you think would make it stand out more above the rest... that's of course up to you, it looks pretty decent otherwise!

just a note...I kept everything on a white background as requested...The design will work good on black as well And can have one color like some of the others...
Just checking in to see if I could help you further. Only the top ranked designer can make changes during judging, but you can rearrange designs to allow for changes to be made. I appreciated your offer for a phone contact, but unfortunately site rules do not allow for it. In the interest of fairness to my fellow designers I have not contacted you directly. I do welcome any additional feedback here though and will gladly make the needed changes.
I was noticing the circles that you seem to like. My design could easily be transformed into any shapes.
