revitalize through community (left icon), economic development (right icon), and preserve architectural and historic sites (center icon)...

I like how you've tried to address our mission statement. Do you have any other ways of representing the community and economic development?

hello, so here are the updates.
entry #70, i represent community as a tree ;) it also represents growth, green, something really positive. and change the economic development using a line graph.
entry #69 has alternate color and font layout.
entry #68 is actually variation, it sort of an emblem kind of logo. the building is modeled after McKinley Alumni Center, so it represents the Old South Baton Rouge and the tree represents growth, community, and environmental.
entry #67 is alternative look of #68
entry #66 is a simplified version of all where you can the the mcKinley Alumni Center.

Liking #70. Can you take #70 use the red from #69 for the building in the middle and have the text formatted like it is in #66 with the wavy line. I'm not sure if the line would work if it shows up 2 times in the design but would like to see if it would work.

i also try with the wave at the bottom as in #86 and on top as in #85

and just for information, you can request variations to be included to the final files (that is if you select my design) in addition i will also send the wining design in black and white version, solid color version, gradient version, pantone information, various file format like eps, ai, jpeg and transparent png.
i also design business card and letterhead, but it's on separate projects and we can talk about it after the contest is over, thx

so i was experimenting again with the design and do some quick updates. the result is #89 #90
basically #89 is the horizontal version of the logo, and #90 is a new variation.

like i said before, you can just pick one of the design but i can send you the some variations as well. thx
