I like this color horned lizard best of what you’ve done. I still feel like there needs a bit more contrast on the details of the lizard. Seems like some of the great details you’ve put into it are getting lost. Appreciated the font style option you sent on the other logo as well. Lots of great submissions so far…going to be a hard decision!
Also, maybe some outline or inline colors on the horned lizard that might give it just a little more definition? The lighter tan to almost grey color is definitely a much more representative of the texas horned lizard's color in nature. Thanks for your entries...your designs are great!
Same as your other that a mentioned wanting to see alternate color on the horned lizard. Also, any other background shapes you think could be a great look? Really like the overall concept of these logo designs.
What about same idea but with your entry #22 that has the other background shape? Wish the R wasn’t being blocked quite so much by the horned frog foot. Maybe a version with the State if Texas shape in a letter like on one of your other designs.
I like the idea of incorporating the State of a texas shape creatively. The only thing I don’t like on your designs is the background having mountains and pine trees. Our location doesn’t have either of those things around. We have oak trees in our area. Cat tails around some shore lines. Mostly flat to rolling terrain. Lake Leon us know for having standing timber in the lake with many areas stumpy. Just trying to share info about the particular location to see what might help you for inspiration in your ideas. Your work is great!
I like the shape of the background here. The circles look good too, but think we will use the logo in many applications where it being wider than tall would be better. Any ideas that create an overall design that is more horizontal would be good to see. If the opportunity to have “Lake Leon, Texas” incorporated in a small way might be good. Perhaps same size or smaller than what “Lake & Golf RV Resort” is on any given design.
I like your vector illustration of the horned frog. Perhaps using a more natural color on him (or not purple as to avoid any conflict with TCU trademarks?) I think I would also prefer “Old Rip’s” to be a larger size lettering with “Lake & Golf RV Resort” a little smaller. This may free up your design options as well.
