Hi, Fermat. We’re going to be awarding you the prize. Congratulations, and thank you for all your work. We’d just like a couple tweaks/updates before we finalize.
You’re probably not still awake, but the owner just asked if we could see this version with the leaf outlined in brown and the veins in brown. I have a feeling this is the last request we’ll have. Thanks so much again
here there is a little change... the kerning, the space between the letters of OLD OAKS is wider... as the letters are bolder, maybe looks more "clear"
The last bit of feedback from our owner (who has this design now in the three he's considering) is to ask if we can see it with the font of "Old Oaks" slightly thicker/bolder? Thank you again for all your work, fermat.
I think this is about the last thing we'd like to see, fermat, and I think we're going to be ready to make a decision. The owner is looking to make the oak leaf have 7 "lobes" instead of 11. As it stands, he's still seeing a fern in this design. I'll attempt to use the markup tool to show you what I mean. In addition, he's asking that you make the leaf slightly larger in proportion to the name, and he asked if we could see it with an outline and veins in the same brown color as "Old Oaks" (as opposed to white). I know it's late — we appreciate your work!
Last request, I think: Could you replace the shape of this leaf with the latest shape you've used? And could you create one version on the brown background and one on a white background? Thanks so much
not problem... I sent some options because sometimes is difficult to choose the colors
Also, sometimes, the companies, choose one palette for the dark version and other for the light version, because is difficult that the same palette looks good with both type of backgrounds.
These are great! Could we see a version on a white background, fermat? Perhaps change the "old oaks" cream color to a brown or taupe? Or possibly keep the cream color and have a brown stroke or shadow?
I'm hoping you're still up, fermat. Could we see how you'd envision this design against a white background and the background oak leaf with the updated shape of your last couple designs?
Hi
I sent some updates, trying to follow your instructions.
Yes, if the letters overlap too much the leaf will be unreadable and also the leaf not recognizable.
I'm sorry to request another update so quickly: The owner is wondering if he could see this design with the leaf between "Old" and "Oaks," with those two words overlapping the orange circle somewhat? My markup suggests the leaf would also be covered by the name, but we're thinking of just overlapping the orange circle a little.
Hi, fermat. We were just looking over all the designs, and the owner was drawn to this one. However, he doesn't like the shape of the leaf. Could we see a slightly modified version with an oak leaf that looks a little more true-to-life? Thank you!
Hi, fermat. Our owner was looking through all the designs again, and he was fond of this design, specifically for its font and color choices. He was asking if you could remove the oak leaf shapes from the "O"s but keep that same look and flourish to the "O"s and then incorporate a larger oak leaf shape in between "Old" and "Oaks" or as a shape behind the name, with "Old Oaks Dental" superimposed over the top? Thanks for your help with this.
These look phenomenal, fermat. Better than I was hoping for. I'll be moving a couple other designers into the top spot temporarily, but we want you to know that your designs are among a handful of our favorites. Thanks for your work!
This is just an artistic presentation, with dark background and drop shadow... also lighter colors of the text to be compatible with dark background. The logo is the same that #481
dark backgrounds and dropshadows and gradients are used a lot for multimedia to give more vivid feeling... as I said, that is just an artistic presentation of the logo
Hi, fermat. I had the chance to meet with the owner and stakeholders tonight about the tournament. The feedback I got was that the owner really liked the straight upright orientation of your oak leaf and the overall strong simple design. I think he was interested in seeing the oak with a slightly different design — I think he'd prefer that the oak leaf not have such rounded edges. Any adjustments you can make in that regard would be great. Also, he tends to like logos that have a sense of dimension or a color gradient. Thanks for all your work, and I'll have you in the top spot very soon.
Thanks for your submissions! We'll be moving some of our favorite designs/designers into the top spots in the next couple days for revisions and fine-tuning. You have a few logos we have our eyes on. Thanks for your patience as we work through this: everything tends to take a while because we have a few stakeholders that needs to weigh in.
