Old Man OGLogo Design Contest

I know, but it escalated very quickly, adding this and that ;)

I'll start from scratch. Good that it's extended. I have a few additional days to work on it.

Nice layout- the prob with using a face sketch is it looks like a specific type of man...We'd have to be more abstract simpler- You know the smiley face emoticon? Well, how might a simple line drawing be done like that, that looks like an old man? I don't know if it possible- I just know that a bearded detailed man won't work because then "every old man" can't envision that likeness

Just a quick note, I've liked your approach and direction so as I see versions coming through, I'm just saving and ranking- I'll sort back through faves you submit as we go.

If I wished for anything it would be some kinda of line art of a man- maybe wisely, winking... as if he was "dumb like a fox" or had this inner confidence expression.... like don't let my age fool ya, I'm still superman! ha. But the thing is, it would have to be simple line art so it could be everyman..... I've seen some for example that will send a man with a long scraggly beard... which a bald headed old guy wouldn't identify with.. but the simple lines of eyes and expression maybe.

Sorry for the ramble and don't wanna take ya off course...likeing what you're doing.. Just still looking for that iconic old man graphic beyond just words. (Words are great... and I may end up going that way.. words only, but exploring both avenues at present
