How are you? Here is my proposal for your contest. I created an icon of an arrow (symbolizing open source, improvement, high performance) combined with a magnifying glass (symbolizing search)
The icon works well along with the name or as a stand alone graphic, one that will be easy remembered.
I look forward to your comments or thoughts. It would be my pleasure to work up any variations.
Thank you for your cool design. #5 is better than #4 because #4 seems "Q" if it is used with small scale. If there is one more color like other designs, it is better.
