Thank you for the feedback. With your help I'm sure I can make a design you'll love. Is there a shape you are preferring for the overall logo?

The wing style background has been done a lot on other logos in our insdustry, this is why your logos haven't made it to the top. You do have a very good style, and the logos do "pop" very well. In this one, the and looks too much like a plus sign, and the "i" in Iron looks a lot like a T.
