btw, are you really want a cake image as the logo itself? i don't think that is good for the identity, that is what almost all cakeries did with their logo, i think by made the same cake for the logo will made your logo sink in the ocean, not a unique identity compared with other competitors, please check this link :

Getting away from the cake picture in the logo I do like this concept.

With the on on top of the cake I wonder if this would be to close to Oprah Winfreys logo.
