I will start from 2) as the answer is simplest. At this point of the contest you can still request tweaks and there is no limit to the number of revisions right to the end of the contest (deadline).
After you select the a winner you learn about his/her details (email included) and the winner learn about yours. From that movement on you both are free to exchange any services - be it paid or free of charge. However, prior to selecting the winner any offers on designer side are perceived as unfair practice as the may influence the Contest Holder choice.
Ok, Talked it over with my business partner and here is where we stand. I need to pick a winner for the contest. When he looked at all of the logos he likes this one as well as parts of one of the other ones. I am not sure of the rules for this contest, but here is what I would like to do. I would like to pick you as the winner, but I would like to make a few changes to this design. Once we get this design to our liking I then want a second, more simple logo. I am willing to pay for both, just not sure how to do that. basically what we want to do is get this design squared away, then take elements from this design (basically just the name) and make a simpler logo. so here are my questions...
1) Is this something you are willing / able to do?
2) At this point in the contest how many times can we tweak this one?
3) How much would a second more simple logo cost me and how do we handle payment?
Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
I made all requested changes. The angler now holds the line in his left hand. Shamrock didn't work quite well as a contour (it melted with the fish line) so I made it solid color. There is still a possibility to put it somewhere else in the design.
4) I am not sure if this is the way to go, but could you change the diamond in the back round to a Shamrock?
Thank you, I am really looking forward to what you come up with.
Thanks for your feedback. I didn't have much time before the blind phase deadline so I decided to enter with B&W logo. Now I will surely work to add some color.

1) remove the "handle" of the rod where it sticks out below the fisherman arm.
2) take the "tail off of the top of the first "L"
3) take the curly q off of the second "L" and continue it like the one underneath.
3) the fly...
check out this link and look at the fly in the upper right corner. or Google "Catskills style dry fly" that is the look I am going for.
