Ok can't wait to see trust your designs. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #157 Withdrawn There's room beside the golf tee — could look good! 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #157 Withdrawn Hey bud, you see what you did with there palm tree on this one.... can you do that to the 4 section logo you designed also? What do you think? Could be cool huh? 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #110 Withdrawn Can you take the ' out and Enhance this one? 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #160 Withdrawn I think we're going to stick with the white but with thinner lines and a little more refined. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #162 Withdrawn Thinner white lines in this one... I felt they were a bit heavy. Makes it easier to see what's going on in the shapes. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #160 Withdrawn Yep, I think it will… we'll see very soon! 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #160 Withdrawn Might be cool huh? 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #160 Withdrawn Yea. Be cool huh? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #160 Withdrawn Do you mean all the white parts – letters and house/people? Could work, I might go a touch darker on the background blue. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #160 Withdrawn Would it look to busy if we changed the white to aqua blue? That might take away from the Orange and loose that pop. Also, let's get rid of the ' in the top box. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #160 Withdrawn Some things I like about this — top row is O/feet/"O'Connor", bottom row house/H/"HOMES" Background as one color feels less busy. The feet alone being orange just pops that small detail nicely. I'm liking this… let me know what you think bud, cheers 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #159 Withdrawn Can you put the feet at the top right keep the box blue but put the two baby feet in orange? Thanks bud 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #159 Withdrawn Ok bud. I like your ideas! 7 years ago charcoal commented on #159 Withdrawn There's another potential solution — you could have the logo with no feet/IVF and instead have a separate badge that appears alongside the logo. Maybe there are some instances you want to use it and others that you don't. (Something like "Proudly supporting IVF"). I just thought I'd put the idea out there. Happy to go with whatever you feel is going to represent you the best. You need to love it. I'm signing off for the night, will catch up with you tomorrow. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #110 Withdrawn I'll give it a go… let you take a look and decide if it works for you. It might not tell the story in the way it is in the other design... leading to house. But maybe it'll work in a different way, as a component of your brand. As long as it doesn't mix up the message of the whole logo. Just make sure you look at it from the perspective of your target market when making the final decisions. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #157 Withdrawn I would not recommend shadows in the text — keeping it as clean, solid text is much more professional. Shadows just don't reproduce well and don't work for signage. I'd suggest just making either name or 'homes' in the blue. Shading is also going to cause problems if you intend to reproduce in signage and print items. Solid colors are much better to work with. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #110 Withdrawn In this one maybe let's make all the sections in the darker blue and put on section in orange with the baby feet. What do you think? 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #157 Withdrawn Hey, what would it look like if we did some shading or shadowing on the O'Connor Homes? Like a little hint of that blue in it? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #157 Withdrawn Will do, hang on 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #157 Withdrawn I like it better with the grey palm tree 7 years ago charcoal commented on #155 Withdrawn Done, cheers. New versions of both foot styles. I'll be online in the morning (9 hours from now). 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #154 Withdrawn Yea totally. Thanks looks great 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #155 Withdrawn Can we get rid of the slogan. Let's keep it simple on that side. Thanks bud 7 years ago charcoal commented on #155 Withdrawn This one's a bit of a recap — I've created the other extreme of baby feet, the more jelly bean shape. Any good? And colors revised. Let me know how we're looking and any adjustments. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #153 Withdrawn Well the good thing is the orange does go with the teal pretty well as they're quite complementary colors. I can rework next round when feet are sorted. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #154 Withdrawn I've made them kind of a triangle shape (narrow heel) which is baby-like – I think that having a trail of footprints looks more grown up as babies are not walking so maybe that's why they don't look like baby feet, even if they do!! Lol! Make sense? 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #153 Withdrawn Not sure what to do about that :( maybe minimizing it to just two orange feet and the rest blue? So that grey and blue are the dominate colors but we still show our support a little 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #153 Withdrawn Ouch, somebody in marketing just mentioned that orange is a terrible color to have a associated with real estate. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #154 Withdrawn Sweet. My partner keeps saying they look like adult feet not baby feet. I told her what makes baby feet different that adult feet other than size??? Lol 7 years ago charcoal commented on #152 Withdrawn I'll see if it works but might just get too busy. But there might be a solution so hold that thought. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #152 Withdrawn I really like what you're doing. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #152 Withdrawn Too hard to make the cobble stones feet huh? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #152 Withdrawn Hope you can see this ok. Note change of circle to orange (the story) and roof to grey. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #151 Withdrawn I like this a lot... Can we make the feet look more like baby feet.? Great start! 7 years ago charcoal commented on #151 Withdrawn I can feel the emotion as soon as those feet were added! 7 years ago charcoal commented on #151 Withdrawn I've made the path a series of stepping stones, much like the path of IVF. I was worried about the feet turning this logo into too much of a niche design but it also looks like freedom and bare feet — at the beach maybe — so it has a broad appeal. Anyway, thoughts? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #131 Withdrawn Ok great. You'll see the idea I've just uploaded. That can be a starting point. But as I said I'd really like to put a bit more thought and time into it. Any feedback on this one will get us on track. Thanks! 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #131 Withdrawn I would just do something new with baby orange feet, towards a door that opens maybe. Palm tree might still work. Let's dump the golf. Let's stick with Greys and Orange theme though (same font in O'Connor Homes). And anything else you can think of would be great. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #131 Withdrawn Awesome... ok, would be good to have a quick chat. Are we talking about a completely new icon, or incorporating something around the baby feet into the existing one (I personally think a fresh start might be a good idea just to get an idea or two out there). It might appear patched together if the feet are just added in on the existing design. Might not tell the story you're wanting. And might kind of conflict with the golf etc, just too much going on. And congrats on your little one, that's just great! I've put together a quick idea and will upload it but I'm more interested in feedback than ranking it, so please let me know if the concept has potential. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #131 Withdrawn You're in buddy. I trust your design talents and I like Australians 7 years ago charcoal commented on #131 Withdrawn I've just woken up here in Australia. I will have a think about this as quickly as I can. I don't want to just throw something together before final phase (which starts under an hour). If I'm ranked number 1 I will be able to upload the concepts when I've done them. Thanks. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #131 Withdrawn I added it in the description 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #131 Withdrawn Hi, i spoke to my partner and have made a couple of changes that we would like to see what you come up with. We're very passionate about this and it would be great if we could implement this in our logo 7 years ago charcoal commented on #133 Withdrawn Matched colors. Nicely spotted 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #131 Withdrawn This one is the best from the new 4 you made. The blue you're using in the Bringing Tampa Bay looks different than the color you used in the logo. Can you get them to match? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #129 Withdrawn No probs, can work on that to get it spot on 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #129 Withdrawn Yes. But I'm not a hude a fan of the slogan font/ layout 7 years ago charcoal commented on #129 Withdrawn Is this the favored font set up? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #126 Withdrawn I'll update as per other comments (color, separator line etc) 7 years ago charcoal commented on #128 Withdrawn Ok, great - I will rework others with this as an option 7 years ago charcoal commented on #125 Withdrawn I'll take a look at that and update 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #128 Withdrawn I like the colors in the shape on this one 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #125 Withdrawn I do like the line in between the logo and name 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #126 Withdrawn Yea I like that. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #124 Withdrawn This is pretty cool but let's stay with that font I liked on your previous one 7 years ago charcoal commented on #126 Withdrawn If used as a stand-alone (such as an online profile image) the symbol is unique and the shape makes it stand out among anything else. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #126 Withdrawn A dynamic, memorable shape highlighting the lifestyle features. O'CONNOR prominent and premium style. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #110 Withdrawn I really couldn't get anything working that really improved this design. It just made things too busy... maybe that wrapping around palm could work if the circle was a lot simpler... just a house for example 7 years ago charcoal commented on #110 Withdrawn I like the fact the scale of everything is (roughly) the same and everything's contained... feels clean. I can take a look at whether those ideas might work (I also need to check no one else has a tree wrapping around a circle! – if so I can go with that... leave it with me to take a quick look at the idea 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #110 Withdrawn My partner (not me lol) was wondering what it would look like with a palm tree wrapping around the outside of the O? Or a palm tree where the vertical line is. I actually like it the way it is though 7 years ago charcoal commented on #110 Withdrawn Agree, there's a lot going on and this balances things and feels more upmarket 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #110 Withdrawn Yea, this is way better 7 years ago charcoal commented on #107 Withdrawn Great. I've combined the palm and tee in the one segment, and added the H. Two new font options uploaded – let me know how either of these work for you (sorry, I could not see Trump reference so I hope one of these is on track). 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #107 Withdrawn I might just do O'Connor Homes in a fine high end font all in a dar grey as there's a lot going on with the other part of the logo. I;ve got to say you did great work here 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #107 Withdrawn I love what you did here. I would put an H in one of the other squares. Try to see if you can find a different font for O'Connor Homes. Something fine a luxury feel . See my Trump Logo for an idea on the font style 7 years ago charcoal commented on #107 Withdrawn This is another idea to tie in the overall shape with the letter O. Apostrophe included as the H has been dropped to simplify the segments. Thoughts? 7 years ago charcoal commented on #76 Withdrawn Hi, during this phase of the contest only the top 5 ranked designers (not top 5 entries) can load new designs. If you'd like me to revise you'd need to improve me to top 5 designers. Even if temporarily. I can look at that right now and upload soon. Thanks. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #76 Withdrawn No black 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #76 Withdrawn I like what you did. Maybe going for more of an aqua blue finish 7 years ago charcoal commented on #78 Withdrawn I felt incorporating the family element just made this design too busy — less is more in this case. O in flag is a reminder of name if icon used stand-alone. (eg for Facebook profile, etc) 7 years ago charcoal commented on #76 Withdrawn We can't see anyone else's entries. It is a blind phase. Any constructive feedback so that I can fine tune is very welcome, thanks. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #76 Withdrawn Someone else did the exact same one 7 years ago charcoal commented on #75 Withdrawn Incorporating tag line. 7 years ago Jjohnryan commented on #71 Withdrawn It's the wrong name 7 years ago charcoal commented on #71 Withdrawn Classic, modern style which has a broad appeal to your market, of buyers and sellers. 7 years ago charcoal commented on #73 Withdrawn Keyhole introduced as an apostrophe and repeated in the symbol so that when it's used on its own it is a reminder of the name. 7 years ago
