Wait we like the all Caps. Can you delete the "." After CA? Also can you move the words Newport beach, ca down just a little tiny bit so it is not so close below Nysa?

And of course one version of the Newport, ca slightly to the right of Nysa as well. I was thinking I don't want it to look like the words are rift behind the rear of the bird lol

would also like to see this version with Newport, ca incorporated too as we really like the layout of this design

I think that can work... can I try having the Newport ca portion to the left of the birds feet and the bird and Nysa closer together with the wave line also slightly to the left?

Sorry also underneath our boat logo we need to have our boat birth under so "newport, ca" you can see the old boat name with its old birth city and state under it on our Facebook page "SV Nysa" (old boat name is Mistcutter)

We are hoping this dimension will work in our rectangular space available on the boat. Can you provide a variation that is not square just in case we won't be able to have the font large enough to be visible on the boat... like perhaps the bird on the side or whatever other variation you may think best so the logo for the boat is longer than it is tall

I am happy to help you complete this project

I think we are going to move forward with this design but we wanted to fill you in on our intention for the logo and ask for your professional recommendations. First and foremost, this will be the logo on our sailboat. The area which the logo will be filling is rectangular and is appx 2.5 - 3 ft tall. The background is white and the material is fiberglass. We are intending on printing the logo in vinyl. Secondly, we are going to use the logo on all our online and print media as well as on any apparel such as hats and t-shirts. Given these use cases we would like to ask the following:
- As the SV (sailing vessel) is implied in the version that will be on the boat itself, we would like to have 2 versions of the logo, one with the "SV" and one without. We really like the symmetry of the logo as it currently is and would like you to provide a couple of ideas for the version that does not contain the "SV"
- We would like to have both versions of the logo with both the white and black background
- We would like to have all the necessary formats and versions appropriate for use in digital and print media (both color schemes in scale-able format, with transparent background, .PSD files (or equivalent) with each component isolated in its own layer, and anything else we are forgetting to ask for :)

I re opened the contest if you wanted to try a few other animals. I was really hoping someone would do something with an albatross like the pictures i attached

I like that you are adding such detail and a sea animal in the logo- i really want to find one with a sea animal in it! The lettering is a little to bold and militant like- I like font that looks a little hand written and free form/adventurous. Would love to see what more you can do since your logo is the most detailed so far
