I really like your idea for this one but it is not quite there... it kind of reminds me of a ying-yang sign... I like the idea of the steering wheel though! I would also like to see a more hand written/adventurous or free form font

This is my favorite font. I really like the waves too. We do have our hearts set on choosing a logo with either a sailboat or a sea animal or bird though.
