Once the contest is over, winning designer signs AGREEMENT OF LOGO DESIGN TRANSFER OF RIGHTS where designer "transfers all rights, ownership, intellectual property interest and legal title of the Logo to the buyer (that is to you)". This menas that once you buy logo you can do (adjust, change, rearange) with it what ever you please.
Also, logo will be delivered in vector (.EPS) format, so all changes and resizing is possible (of course you will recieve other formats as well, but this is the one that guarantees possibility of changes).

If we go with your design will we be able to change the color scheme or stick with only the one we deem the winner? A color variation I would like to see is the fish the same blue as the rest, but change the NSRAA acronym to the red color (Leave the full name blue). Also something I tried (when looking at colors) was to make the fish all blue but have the outside outlines of the fish and details in red. Gives it an interesting look.

like this one. most of the salmon are harvested by commercial fishing boats. like the mountains very emblematic of alaska. look at troller, seine, and gillnet boats for closer likeness to alaska fishing boats. great
