I like the borough outline in #1 with the lettering and sports in the orange of #2...
I'm not sure I'll like what I'm about to say next, but given the site I am building I think I have to see what maroon and black would look like.
Cool design, would "NorthWest" in the same font as "Brooklyn" work?

#25... I just stared at for like 2 minutes...partly because #1 & #2 I had actually said to my wife how I wanted that to be the logo for something else ... but thats another story, thanks for your work.
