Hello, Don -

Great entry! Definitely the feel for which we are looking!

Any way to reduce the number of trees, make the mountains peak a little higher, and the lake a rushing river?

Thanks,
Beth

Thanks, I'll work on that & submit the revised logo asap.

Here is the revised logo with less trees, higher peaked mountains & a river instead of lake.
I also added a fisherman & changed around text colors a little.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks

I added a possible Established date, if you like it, but need a different year, just let me know.
Thanks

Thanks, Don!

Really great looking logos, Don. Not 100% sure if we prefer the round over the oval yet...have to look at them for a bit. Set the round as #1 because the text is more legible. Still like the original shape, too, though.

The mountains still look really northwest to us (like the Rockies), rather than the Appalachians, which are layered and generally green, although they take a blue cast (ergo the Blue Ridge Mountains). Here's a link with some images so you can get a better idea: http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbs=isch:1&q=pictures+of+north+georgia&sa=N&start=0&ndsp=18.

Thanks!

Hello, Don!

I think the moose on the newer versions, such as #11, is not proportionate with the rest of the image...and we don't have moose in this neck of the woods. Any way to make that silhouette a horseback rider?

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,
FYI, that's meant to be a Buck, not a Moose, I do agree that I show it way too large in proportion to the rest of the image. (My wife thought is was a moose too)
When I get back to my design computer, I will change it to a horseback rider.
Also if you want me to drop the new image into any of the other layouts, let me know.
Thanks,
Don

Okay, Don -

Thanks! Guess we're just not used to the really big bucks in Georgia...particularly if you're out West.

Sorry to be a pain, but we're wondering if there is a way to modify those silhouettes a bit to make them not as much a part of the picture, but still part of the logo? If we lost some of the sky, so that we had more "canvas" at the bottom, do you think it would be possible to represent archery, fishing, and horseback...maybe protruding from above the banner used for "outfitters"?

Thanks,
Greg

Yes, I'll give that a try.
Are you planning on extending the contest, especially with the low amount of entries?
I'm not sure I would be able to create the images in the time frame after I get home.

Hi Don,

Thank you so much for all your work. On entry #11, is there a way to drop the banner altogether and just have "outfitters" in a font along the same lines and the other entry? Also, hopefully adding the horseback rider? Sorry for so much trouble but maybe we are getting there. We appreciate all your efforts and help.

Awesome work, Don.

I think we'd like to kill the birds (figuratively, of course). Also need a cowboy hat on that rider, please.

We're wondering if those figures might work in a brown or taupe rather than black? They seem a little stark.

Prefer the order/layout of the new figures in #30.

Thanks,
Greg

Hey, Don -

Really can't stand it when my lame ideas cost you time. Those figures in other than black tend to look like statues, don't they? Looks like black with the cowboy hat is preferred.

Thanks,
Greg

Hey, Don -

I know you're probably caring for your wife today. Prayers for her!

We really like the figures in the foreground (dark w/cowboy hat). Since the river is fairly obscured, and since it is another feature in North Georgia that we haven't really captured, any way you can figure out how to work in a waterfall coming off those mountains on the right-hand in the background?

We would also like to see the #30 with the new landscape.

Also, can the sky become a blue less like the color of the mountains, so there is a little more distinction between the two?

One more thing...on #30, can we see a different treatment for "North Georgia" font? One of our group is afraid it might be too difficult to read.

Thanks,
Greg

Added a little more lighting behind the figures to make them pop a little more...

Don: On number 59, see if you can reduce the size of the horse and rider plus move the bow hunter to the right to where his bow and/or arrow is outside the circle. Thanks, Greg

Hey, Don -

Thanks for the changes! On #59, can you go ahead and make the "Georgia" curved like the original, but North remain the same?

Really think the sunset is beautiful, but would like to see one with a clear, bright blue sky.

The waterfall...great job! Exactly what was in my mind!

Thanks,
Greg
