Thanks for the submissions - really like them both! The only thing at first glance I'd like to suggest is adjusting the word SIGNS on #30 so the font is more solid. On my screen it appears to get blurry toward the bottom, but I think it's just the effect with the shading. If you want to refine that a bit, or explore any other ideas you have, please send them over.
Correct on the shading effect. I love the style of all your additional submissions! I can see now it will be a challenge to decide. Can't think of any additional feedback at the moment. I would like to have my wife see these as well later today and will get back to you with any additional thoughts. Great work!
Hi Slab - I wanted to see if you can make another version of the logo for me. I'd like to see what it would look like to take #33 and apply the layout you used on #75, with the North Coast Signs text to the right of the icon. I'd also like to see it with the text colors 2 ways - one with the gray on North Coast and blue SIGNS, and the other with the colors in the text reversed (keeping the blue on the bottom of the NCS icon always). Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Thanks for the new ideas. I think I still prefer some of the earlier versions though. Just one request for you. Can you take version #245 and make the following changes? 1) Make the line wieght on the waves in the icon much thinner. 2) Make the letters NCS a little smaller. 3) Change the border shape of the icon to have 2 rounded corners and 2 square corners (like the icon in #33). 4) Enlarge the text of "North Coast Signs" so it is closer to the same height as the icon. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks. I'm online now, but going to sleep soon. I look forward to seeing your update in the morning - and want to thank you for all your efforts in this contest. It will be a very difficult decision, and I am getting feedback from many friends. Hope to make a decision early next week, after Christmas.
Wow. Quick work. Like the improvement - just see if you can make the white lines for the waves much thinner lines - still feel very heavy to me - perhaps reminds me too much of the adidas logo. ;)
