check it, my suggestion is using that line, so the line will protect the logo from any background color, and if you dont want it in the future, then you just can delete that line, also the line will make the logo can work in single color (monotone)
I still really like the cube, but I feel like the word mark is missing something. Maybe we can try some different fonts and try to work in the colors instead of a solid black?
I've been looking at this wondering if there's anyway to make a "W". So the cube contains "NW", but not sure if that would take a way from the simplicity or make it difficult to read.

I'm still having a hard time deciding between this and #5. Would the teardrop "O" look good in a variation using the other font? I'm also wondering if a variation using this style for the entire word mark would look good, or would that be overkill?
