Is the font thinner here? The X looks much better, but I think the font weight is still too thick, and maybe the letters aren't wide enough font (thinking atlasgames.co feels a bit wider).

I might also try to invert this... so that the black is actually on the outside, and the dots are essentially white (so it looks more like a block, with the X cut out). I bet that would work good with this design.

The rest of the font still doesn't look good.

Nice! Need to clean it up and provide a few more options, but this is definitely getting there. It feels a little flat on the X, so maybe making it cleaner/minimalist, or using some boxes that are full, some are strokes or something like that to give it texture.
