Thanks for these! Upon reviewing all the color options, we are actually back toward liking this one best. (I'm sorry, we didn't mean to make you go on a wild goose chase!)
Could you do a version with these colors that goes back to just the arrow in the V instead of the step? It would be nice to have a comparison. I think if we have that option, we will decide between that one and this one for the final. Thank you!!
Thanks! We are excited about this direction and I think we are really close to a final version. The blue font and smaller size for the brain look great.
For the brain colors, perhaps "muted" wasn't the right word to communicate what we have in mind. Maybe paler or more transparent is a more accurate description? The bright red is what is feeling out of place for us, I think. That said, we did like the bright and cheery shades in #252, aside from the red. Could we also try a version that goes back to those but has a yellow or orange in place of the red? (I imagine it might end up looking like something that's in between #252 and #271.)
Finally, I sent this and #289 to my colleague who had the idea about the steps/stairs and will let you know what she thinks about these options ASAP.
Thanks for your patience as I gathered feedback from members of our team! We like this design best out of all your submissions and are hoping it is possible to try some versions that incorporate the following:
1) Can the colors (particularly the red and bright blue) in the brain be slightly more muted?
2) Can the brain be just a tad smaller?
3) Could the words Next Level Lab and the line on either side of Lab be in that dark blue from the brain, rather than black?
4) We have started infusing staircase motifs into some of our website design and wondered if it might work for the letter V to have a "step" (like a single zig-zag) built into it along with the arrow.
Could you try moving the brain to the left side of the image rather than above? We're also interested in exploring ways to incorporate an arrow into the text (maybe in the V in "Level"?), if that's possible to play around with.
