Here are my proposals for your contest. I created various entries with the play button as eye catcher to represent video. #17 #18 #19 #20 - represent a book (referring to news-book) with the negative space symbolizing a play button (video)
#15 #16 - speech bubbles (media, social, sharing) with a play button incorporated.
The icons works well along with the name or as a stand alone graphic, one that will be easy remembered.
