I find this interesting but would like to see the letters not connected. Also it would be nice to see more options from you.

#12 is better. It would be interesting to see the graphic look like a pipe with a layer coming off. It would tie the old and new logos.

#13 is in the right direction but needs to go further to look like a pipe and the color rings to look more like insulation coming off. That would tie the old logo and new logo together.
