Hi again.
I just noticed that you have what looks like a dancing figure in #40 and #41!
I would love to see a new version of the same design w/ the side,or w/ the text in line w/ the edges of the box. I like #38 and #39 b/c the bottom edges look like they could move out of the box. Do you know what I mean? The design doesn't say as much as #40 and #41, but it is very beautiful.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you for taking some time to submit entries to this contest.
All the best,
Saskia

Bordo - Amazing work! Thank you! I am totally in love with the designs. I am wondering in general, though, if you could play with the image of the "Zen Circle". Somebody else submitted a design w/ it in it, but it's not quite right. I would love to see your take.

OK - I know I have put you hard to work for us, but I am wondering if you have any other inspirations? I would love to see another 'abstract' one from you, that plays with the same themes.

I also feel that "institute" gets a little lost in the designs you are submitting (e.g. 40, 87, 88). Could we make it just a little bit bigger without loosing the balance of the logo?

I also want to ask your opinion about what sort of logo you think works best. Which of the ones you submitted do YOU feel most proud of? Which do you like most? I would love your take on this as well.

Thanks Bordo! We are getting close, and we continue to love your work. I really enjoy working with you!

Can you try a few changes on #146:
1) Without the "nei" script. I love it, but a few people have commented that it looks like Arabic script and we don't want this since we do some of our work in Israel/ Palestine! Maybe you could replace it with "new earth" and "INSTITUTE" on a separate line as you have been doing, but trying a different font that would match the light circle?
2) With the circle and design on the other side of the new earth institute, as in #106.

Can you try a few changes on #147
1) As above, try moving the circle and design to the other side of the new earth institute, as in #106.
2) Separate "new" and "earth" (it reads a bit like 'newarth' together) OR try bolding "earth" so that it is more clearly differentiated from "new".

And a few changes to #92:
1) Try removing the "nei" script from the centre of the circle, and removing the color. I have always wanted to see a logo from you or others with just the simple zen circle (clearly drawn w/ a brush stroke - maybe a bit thicker and more raw than the thin versions you have been doing till now).
2) Try moving the new circle to left and right of the name of the institute.

And two more to our currently top ranked logo (#106),
Can you try a version with the "INSTITUTE" a bit bigger (it is very small now)
Can you try a new version with a round logo, placed in the same place as the current box.

Thank you!

Here are updates:

#149 #150 - without "nei" / with bigger "institute" / new font
#151 #152 - different font
#153 - icon placed on the right side
#154 #155 - only Zen circle
#156 - word "institute" updated
#157 - with round logo on the right side

Let me know is there any other change you would like to see.

Thanks,
Bordo

OK - here's my latest thinking... First, I love the changes. Thank you!
#150, #151 - I am not sure which font we like better yet, so let's keep them both for now.
#155 - We like this. Could you try introducing the element of a + ? Not a cross (as in the christian symbol), but four quadrants. It can be loosely interpreted, free hand, it should probably come out of the circle. Maybe that's a way to introduce some color to this logo design?
In general, we like the logo image to the right and the text on the right.
Color palette hasn't been decided upon yet, but we do want to have a color version of whatever we wind up choosing. So, can you introduce some color to #151?
Another idea posited by a team member is a blending and modification of #151, #146 (w/ the old script 'nei') and #81. We like the colors of #81. Could you add the same text and design from #81 to #151? Replacing the text "New Earth Institute" in #151? And then, add color to the design?
Please let me know if you need more feedback or clarification.
All the best,
Saskia

Hi! Can you try using the same font you used in #151 in #153?
We would also love to see some different colors introduced into #151 (as in #153). Can you try?
Hope you are well!

The new color designs are beautiful, but it feels like the register is off a bit -- the way the colors are slid to the left a bit. In printing this logo it might look like an error. It could be read as blurry. This isn't the case in #247.
I also like the solid color in #247, instead of the two tones.
Man oh man. sorry for all of the design alterations! Thank you for patience and perseverance!

Can you try that bright, apple green w/ black on #274?
And can we see a version of the same logo that does not have that brushstroke feeling? This is feedback I got from others....

Hi!
We are coming down to the final days. It's hard to pick a logo, especially from the selection you have offered -- they are so diverse and they all have distinct 'feelings' to them. I am going to circulate your designs (the ones that are still standing) to our team for final review in the next 24 hours, but in the meantime I wonder if you could make a few more adjustments:

- Try a version of #247 and #283 with same color as the green in #280

- Clean up the edges on #247 so that it doesn't look as 'painted'. We like the idea, but it doesn't print very well.

That's all for now! Thank you again for all of your work on this contest. I will be in touch again...

- Try a selection of different colors (same family) in #280.

Thank you Saskia!
When you said "Clean up the edges on #247 so that it doesn't look as 'painted'" do you mean
something like entry #281 or somehow different?
About the other suggestions, I will submit new revisions shortly.

Aleksandra

OK Aleksandra,

We are getting very close now. We have narrowed it down to three of your entries, which was VERY hard to do because we love so many of your designs. The remaining are the ones that stood out most for our core team, which is interesting because they were some of your most recent entries. I wonder if you started to feel into what we are after following so many attempts! Thank you for your prolific, creative entries. I am sorry that we are not going to be able to use them all!!!

I want to ask a few more adjustments in the remaining three, which include #280, its variation, #361 and the other new design, #360:

- Can we see versions of all three that would print very well in black and white (i.e. two-tone versions)
- Can we see versions of all three on a black background (for use in presentations against a black background)
- Can we see #361 on top of the name of the organization? I think "Institute" would have to be centered in that new version.
- Can we see #361 and #280 with a variety of colors -- each leaf a different color?
- Can we see #361 and #280 as is, but in different colors?

This will be our last request!!!

Thank you so much,
Warmly,
Saskia
