I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find a good way of pairing the dots with the map without it looking either too forced or too busy. Or both.

I'll continue to experiment until your contest ends and will upload anything I think represents an improvement on what I've already submitted.

Can you make the background and foreground a bit more contrasted so it's more noticeable please? And we're worried that the color division makes it feel like the continent is divided can we just make it a gradient? Great work, thanks for sticking with us!

Please see #67 and #68. I've ghosted the North American continent in as a darker shape in one and a lighter shape in the other.

This might work in situations where the logo is to be reproduced in quite large sizes but, for smaller applications, particularly for social media icons, etc, I would strongly recommend the simpler version.

Ah, sorry about the icon, I was focussed on the composition and worked with the original.

I'll ghost the map as suggested. Should the map include just the US and Canada (i.e. not Mexico et al)?

We need to take out South America, I added that comment later, sorry it was disjointed. I may have made the last comment on the wrong logo but we like the one without the center dot. I do like your original logo with the squarish icon better. Think we can just ghost Noth America into the background box? The country shaped background seems really busy.

More from on high :-) since our membership is mainly comprised of persons in North America we're thinking we should just have North America in the background.

I personally really like this logo as is but my committee **sigh** is feeling like they need to incorporate imagery of the Americas into our logo (not just USA but the continent) . Can you show them an option where the shape of the continent is ghosted into the background of colors behind the radial blast?

This is our favorite by far. Would you be willing to give us an option without the central dot? We're trying to make it a bit less flower-ish.
