To be clear, in your original logo, you have 1 color: blue (dark & light). The text can stay like that, but the brain can be a bit more colorful. So you can add up to 2 or 3 colors. The wires can have a different color than the brain shape, and the squares can be in different colors than blue. So maybe 2 in addition to blue not three. Such as Orange & another harmonic color.

I think you should stick on 3 colors (with possible variations) but no more. I don't like gradients. Also, text logo should have no more than 2 colors
