Awesome!! the sooner you can, the better. We are hoping to make a decision in the early am. We need to get this project under way with our marketing team.
If you were able to do it tonight.... just saying.... that would be great :) It's down to the wire. THANKS! =)
I can, but it would be copying another designer who did it first. That can cause conflict during the contest. Once you own the files the colors can be changed to whatever you want.
One thing to note is that I created my transparent N out of standard process colors to make it easy and cost effective to print and use on applications like shirts, etc. The absence of shadow and gradient keeps it simple and clean. The only two colors you need are process blue and yellow for the symbol.
Our marketing person is strongly encouraging us to keep our current logo and rather than completely replace it, we update it. Can you go to www.networkbuildersit.com and give us your thoughts and design recommendations. We would like to incorporate a blue color.
Cool thank you... we really like your designs! Our Marketing Manager likes the "Blocks" we currently have in our existing logo and would like to keep the blocks, but change up the color to update our look. We love the color you used in the "N" designs. Your N design is still a contender. Tomorrow we have a meeting and are going to be making a decision. I think you could really spice up our existing logo... maybe that would make us consider on keeping it.
All our stuff is being redone, so this is a big deal. We also have a new website about to launch. :)
See what you can do.... work your magic. thank you for all your hard work! Much appreciated! :)

There are a few ways to make letters out of blocks and update the colors and keep continuity. I will probably have a couple of other thoughts in the morning!
No problem. See what you can do by 10am PST (California Time). The one main aspect our Marketing Manager likes about our current logo is the blocks. We have designed some other marketing material around the building blocks idea/and their shape. So - throw in what you can. WE are excited to see what you can do using the blocks... and some fun colors...like you've already demonstrated.
We are ready to rock and roll and get this done. Tomorrow we have a meeting and will be deciding. Submit everything you can. You are very talented! Front Runner! :)
Thank you. I have a meeting in the morning with existing clients who need me for a rush job, but will do what I can. I also do marketing and see how blocks can be used, so I kept them while still giving you something more interesting.
#345 isn't bad... my husband wasn't a fan as much. He likes your #1 rank logo a lot! However, our Marketing Manager (whom we just hired) is thinking we shouldn't abandon our current logo. He thinks it could be jazzed up with some new color and perhaps a little design face lift. We agreed to keep an open mind.
WE meet at 2pm tomorrow along with our advertising agency. We have to come to a decision before then. So that's our scoop. This process has been amazing.... you are really good! Love your designs!
See what you can do in the morning. Also - what other services do you offer? Can you design business cards and stationary and email templates? This will be project #2. :) We have a lot to do in a short time. With a new logo...and the fact that we moved into a new office, everything has to be redone and redesigned ASAP.
Keep us posted!! :)
Thank you for all your hard work and time. Glad you are apart of the team!
I do anything with print design and ad design, and stay pretty busy with people in lots of time zones. Your current logo is kind of busy and a little dated but I understand keeping the blocks as an element somewhere in your graphics - but it could be in a way that's apart from your logo. So I'm trying to stay away from the old look without giving up all your branding. If that makes sense!
very good feedback. :) I appreciate your comments. totally makes sense. the reason my husband and I wanted to change our logo was because we felt the same as you do. It seemed outdated and too blah. I am super tired of the steel blue and gray. Our marketing manager disagrees and says the blue is good and represents the image we want to portray and the blue attracts the audience we want.
I am just confused. Don't know what to do. Trying to be open minded. We have so much we are tackling and the logo is holding up everything.
Please submit whatever else you can. Your opinion is much appreciated and welcomed. It's nice to get feedback. :)
Have a good night! Looking forward to whatever else you have up your sleeve. ;)
I'm glad to help. FYI, the colors on the final files you receive are fully editable in the .EPS version by future web people, printers and other vendors who use the programs that have .EPS files. I like the use of blue in some form and I personally like steel blue but maybe just not as much of it as you have. Some of my entries have some of that blue in it but also add a little brighter tones. The main color we are adding here is yellow which can mix with the shades of blue and black to make blue, green and yellow in brighter or deeper shades including the steel blue. You can keep some of it!
#384 #385 and #386 show ways you can combine the N you like with the blocks you want to either keep or phase out of. You can also use the block motif with the N, but apart from it as a graphic element on your signs or letterhead or website. Another option is to use one of these in transition, then phase out the blocks as your new brand is established.
