i love the simplicity of the first one, and how it is a very subtle interpretation of a nest. it has texture and clean lines. however, i feel like the "nest" being in lower case letters might be too reminiscent of the nest home thermostat logo. can we try it in upper case, and also, maybe try the lines in a darker shade of blue.

Dave, I really love the new one. I really hate to keep asking but I just wanna have a Few options to choose from. can you try a different color combinations with more neutral colors. For example, the colors on the banner of jefflewiscolor.com ? I really appreciate it. Love where you're at so far.

Hi, I like the neutrals on that site :). we can try some. Keep in mind that the logo will in most cases be supported by other elements which will help flesh out the brand ID. Just like jefflewiscolor.com. their's is just black and white. The probably have multiple color versions for cards, etc.

Would you like to try some background colors as well? I'm here all day today so we can have some fun exploring. Will post some updates shortly.

Hey Dave, sorry I just saw your response. I really like #52 ever since I saw it. The color combination is unexpected and works beautifully. I think that's gonna be the winner. I just wonder if you can connect the top lines. Seems like they are a bit spaced. Also, can you try a grey for the nest real estate font? As far as background, I think I wanna stick with white, It gets pretty expensive in real estate making signs and marketing material with full background color. Also, I like the logo to stand out and I feel it does that best with a white background. Thanks man, great work!

Maybe a couple color combos of #52 if you get bored :)

Hi again, sure I will post a few combos today with grey type. I think its the combo of mostly cold with a very warm highlight that feel pleasing and optimistic. we can also try the reverse :) like browns/tans with a hit of bright blue or green. I'll play a bit.

I must say that I have played with logo quite a bit, trying to make improvements or just different (tinkering I guess) but I keep coming back to this rendition. There are a number of great things happening on multiple levels and yet the design is so simple. Even if it didn't win, its a keeper for me personally :)

will post updates today.

It's been 111 and 112. Can you stretch out the "real estate" so that it is in line with the N on the left and T on the right of the word Nest?

Hey Dave, congratulations, you are definitely the winner. I just cant seem to decide between 111 or 112. I am leaning towards 111 thought. I know the contest is over, but is there anyway you can do one last rendition of 111 with different shades of blue just for textures sake. and also can you please stretch out the words "real estate" so that they are in line with NEST. Then I will make a decision immediately. Im sorry I have been asking for so much but you definitely hit the nail on the head from day 1 and I very much appreciate your hard work. THANKS!

Hi again, its often difficult to close a color set in these stages. A lot of times its very personal.

A few things to keep in mind, the colors can change whenever you want and to whatever you want because you will certainly have the source files.

Another reason why its difficult is because its out of context and I would certainly be happy to continue to help you with the overall identity after the contest. My freelance rate applies of course but I think that a basic set of stationery or something that has more context might help solidify the overall look of your brand ;)

Hey Dave, do u think the last E in real estate should extend more to be in line with the top of the T. Do you know what I mean? Can u do that for 122 and 123. Once you do that, I'll choose one to win so you can get paid but I wondered if you could send me both of them so I can have both printed on a lawn sign and see which looks better? Thanks again for you help. I want to get your info too so when I need some other work I can come to you directly.

Hi again. The top of theT carries almost no weight to it so the E feels like it is pushed out a bit. I much prefer #112 o r#122.
