We love this concept, Suggest you dont have to do any other design work at this point. I think in the second stage we can play with a tinner rope and perhaps the different shades of greeay on the north cardinal markers. It is looking great.

This is a very clean logo, we also like your logo 272. particularly the rope. Wonder how this logo would look if it had the rope around the logo in a oval shape?
