Discussion

I really like the concept in #13. I'd like to see it without the shading cutout. I'd also like to see it with the name 'Nature Calls' below or wrapping around the log above.

Entry #10 is nice as well. I'd like to see a more simple adaptation of it.

Thanks for the feedback . I made some revisions in #20. I will continue to work on it and let me know if you think of anything you would like to see.

Thanks!

#20 is nice. I did notice you're misspelling 'Premier' in your logos. I'd like to see some variations of #20 to include shading like the bear's head in #10. I'd also like to see it with different fonts and leaves as the divider between name and slogan.

Gave the paw print five fingers like it should in #21 and added the wood grain to the bear. The look I am going for is (still perfecting it) as if the bear was burnt/carved into the stump.

Opps! Sorry for the misspelling. It will be corrected in future submissions.

Hello BC Branding, you're in my top 3 finalists of designers going into the last day. I would like to see you rework #22 and #10 with a new font that's a little more professional.

I also wouldn't mind you making another attempt at #13 where some wood grain is revealed in the shading on the bear, but many people see #13 and think there's a snake head inside the bear's head the way you did the shading originally. Can you try a different pattern?

Sure thing . I had a busy weekend, but am looking forward to completing the requested revisions and seeing how I can improve them further for you.

I am starting on them now and will upload in the morning.

Thanks!

Where are you man? I want a USA logo to go with our USA product!

Alright there you are! #109 and #111 are nice, definitely like the new font. You misspelled Premier again in both, lol.

Opinion is really coming behind a tree stump design. But nobody has knocked it out of the park yet. Could you take a swing at it? I like the simple/classy designs you're making... could you make a tree stump with a door on it just as simple and classy as the bear shape you made?

Like the stump the bear is standing on, make it bigger, put a door on it... I'd like to see what you can do.

Dang. I just grabbed the text from designs and earlier and forgot to update it. I will take a shot the stump/porta potty now.

I typically don't bother with contests when everything is the same concept because it turns out into a drawing contest and not about concept, but I think I can put my own spin on it and hopefully you'll dig it.

Thanks!

Brian,

I totally understand but I'm a bit frustrated because everyone else besides you still seems 'cartoonish' to me... while your designs are the only one that seem 'corporate' which is what we want... but the concensus here is we want something in the design to at least hint about what we do. Which the stump with door definitely does... but nobody has executed it that well.

Thanks

So if you perfect the end of the log... that could work, or just do a Brian corporate-ish version of the stump on top of the lettering from 109 and that could be all we need. Or if you can think of a way to have a bear and a tree without it being super cheesy, that would be good too.

Maybe let us look at #20 with the new font from #109?

Good morning Brian,

Good news... our CEO likes the bear the best at this point and doesn't seem to see the need to put the product in the logo. So let's see some bear variations!

We'd like to see you bring back the shading on the bear with #10 and incorporate that bear into the text and backdrop of #132.

We definitely like him standing on the stump instead of a rock.

You got it!

Also, can you give us a variation with a forest scene behind the bear instead of mountains?

I like the forest background... I'll get some feedback from others on it and let you know.

In the meantime, let's visit the concept in #164, the circle. Don't like the green you used in that one... can we try it with the muted blue around it or another color? Also, I feel like the shading on the bear's head could be improved. Could you try some shading cutouts like #13 had, but a different design of them (too many people thought #13's was a snake head inside the bear head)
