How come you withdrew your design? We really liked the design and thought a few changes would make a big difference. The Text (Natural Selection...) was a bit hard to read, either because of color or font...perhaps size...
Also, the "will you make the cut" tag line could be removed entirely from the design and I think that would make it look better.
We like both #32 and #30 but want to take features from both and combine into one as follows:
We'd like to keep the brown tipped compass from design #30 instead of the green tips in #32. We prefer the font and coloration used to write "Adventure Racing" in design #32
A few other enhancements we think might help: -we aren't crazy about the shade of blue chosen for the sky and aren't sold on the stripes. Our first thought was to alternate white and orange stripes in the sky (like an orienteering flag) but we also don't want it to look like the japanese rising sun flag. We're open to suggestions. it might be sufficient to just change the lighter shade of blue to something else. avoid purple as we haven't liked purple in other designs. -A crisper/cleaner font for the "Natural Selection" and "Will you make the cut" text
#33 is in pretty good shape right now. We have just a few things that we'd like you to try.
Could you make the font size of the "Natural Selection" text just a bit bigger and maybe try one with a redish/orangish sunset instead of the light blue?
In design #36, could you make the blue sky white? A second alternative would be to try making the 5 middle stripes of the sky all orange and all the others white. It would look like an orange triangle reaching out through a white sky...the intent would be to make it look like the orange triangle of an orienteering flag.
We were just informed by LT that you may have used a number of clipart images in your designs and that this could open us up to some potential legal risks if we didn't have proof that the images you used are owned by you. Can you tell us about the clipart images and provide us proof that you own these images?
Because of the potential legal risk that has been brought up concerning your design we likely won't select it as the winner. However, we like the design and might use it as an unofficial logo for certain purposes. Could you send us your email, so we can negotiate a fair price for the design? Thanks,
