Took an hour of sketching but it came together well. The M and W represent the student and trainer working together with the S connecting them acting as the tools and networks. Your feedback is welcome.
Whew!!! That is intimate!!! I like the thought that went into this. Your brain has my favor lol. I'm literally sitting here in awe... Edits: Your thought processes are absolutely right ON! 1. I'm not sure about the text. We are a business professional geared sight, so that is emotional atmosphere/text we would like to channel to our users. Most students don't have a lot of exposure to professionals, so this would be their sort of networking, personal event to gain these experiences. 2. Since this will be on our masthead through out the whole website, the text needs of a substantial size.
Here is a link to a sketch of what our designer is debating which depends on the logo we choose... http://www.designmjb.com/msw/
The direction in which this logo is going is in my absolute favor... FYI.
keep the feedback coming. I will work on some variations. Are you saying that you are after a more professional typeface and a larger one?. Thanks for such great initial feedback.
The orange color you have chosen in #5 is probably the most like of mine... The font in #28 is definitely in my favor but it is commonly seen, so I'd like a better variation of it. Do not separate the "SELFWORTH" color as to we are trying to focus on the phrase itself to our users and potential users. Even though it is not actually a word, we are creating a sort of "self actualization" which reaches out to individuals who will want to join the site. I made a new brief if you'd like to read it. Don't forget this is a business site...
Don't forget we are also looking for color gradients. Subtle is good. We are looking for a rich color look. Kind of like when you are at a fruit market and a you see an unbelievable piece of fruit because of it's rich color and appeal. :-)
#6 is almost perfect... My VP really likes it. The colors... those specific oranges/greys are the ones we want to see. #28 this text is in the direction we would like to go... but at the sametime, does it flow well w/the logo???
This is where your designer mind comes into play!!!
