I see you have been ranking some of the more recent designs. Since you have included my design in the set I wanted to provide a bit of a rationale for you.
The logo I have designed here (#239) encompasses the spade. The ace of spades is not only believed to be the most powerful card in the deck, it's appearance is often seen as fortunate - being the the highest card and unbeatable in most games. It also traditionally symbolizes the end of something old and the beginning of a new opportunity. In addition to these translations though, the spade also symbolizes intellect, understanding, power, and action.
