Why is the one eye closed? Would like to see its version with it open. Also how about less gradient on the letters so its a little brighter?

No problem, I can do both eyes open. I've made some changes to the letters, please, take a look. I'll work on the requests right now.

What is the difference between #123 and #124? Also would we get this in a transparent background so we can place over any color?

#124 has subtile changes in some small details. The main one is that the colors of the letters are a little clearer (better to read, comparing to #123) - I had to adjust the contrast between the colors and the black contour of the letters. Sure you can have the image with transparent background. Considering that the images have black contours I think they will look fine on most of the backgrounds.
