bot of these are pretty good. Could we try and incorporate the dog and iPad from #9 and My (being a thinner cursive with the Sounder's green I noted) and seattlehomesource being the blue with a font similar to this but a swirly Sounder's green space needle as one of the T's in Seattle?
Basically, dog to the left then the cursive My then seat(space needle as the second T)lehomesource.com
Also the feedback I'm getting her is that the dog looks a little sneaky - like a used car salesman - the eyes and smile were the most common feedback in the office.
On entry 10, can we minimize the dog in relation to the text, and soften his eyes (pupils) the pupils look like he's had way too much coffee. :)
Let's keep the text colors the same but in Seattle - the second "T", can we take the T out and make it a couple swirls around with a simple needle top and a couple gently swooping lines going up to signify the sides of the needle? I've got a link to pictures of the space needle http://bit.ly/rmDjMC and let's try the space needle "T" art in the neon green while the rest of the text stays the same. Also could I see this without the dog? Good job so far - creative.
Nice. Okay, on entry 12 - could we make the dog's tie the neon green color and get the eyes in alignment with each other - he looks just slightly cross-eyed - maybe it is because the pupil of the eye to the right touches the edge but the left eye looks almost straight ahead. In between the iPad and the body of the jacket, it looks like there is a portion of the arm (?) missing where there is a white gap. If we look at entry 11 with the blue jacket, a portion of that gap is filled with the dog's right arm. On the space needle part - what you did on entry 14 looks great if that could be adjusted on entry 12 to match. Basically, if we were to take the text portion of number 14 and merge with the dog portion of 12. Also, will there be a way to separate the dog portion from the text portion for business cards if we were to pick logo design with the dog? Right now the dog and text overlap slightly on the tip of the "M' but it would be great if we could remove the dog for certain marketing where we don't have the room for it.
These look great. Thank you for separating the dog. We should have specified better what we meant when referring to separating the dog. What we meant to ask was, can we separate it in the future as needed for different marketing materials where it would be too large (i.e. business cards, or if we want a more professional business type piece without the dog)
I suppose we could crop it out of the final image as needed.
So far we like the # 1 and # 2 rated logos still out of the others that I've seen. If we can separate the elements in #1 (dog and the text) then we'd probably go with that one. If you want to provide any other versions before the end of the tournament, feel free. We've asked for outside input from some of our associates so we may have other ideas pop up pertaining to these - nothing now.
