Hi there!
Well, I sort of like your ideas, but the look and feel of the logo is just way off. The associations of a face for My Mind and a flag for the corporate aspect doesn't work for me. Please refer to the contest brief to see what I'm looking for.
In addition (and not mentioned in the contest brief), I think the font should be sans serif.
This is so much closer to where I want to go with the design! The image is getting there, although I'd like to see an image that is even darker (moodwise). Think industrial revolution meets dr. Frankenstein. The font should be sans serif like this. 100% improvement... kudo's!
OK! There's some stuff I like and some that I don't like about this design:
Pro's:
* the opening at the beginning at the conveyor belt is right on the mark * the spinal cord and bloodvein at the base of the brain are a welcome addition * I like the smudginess below the conveyor belt * I also like the connecting tube between the two parts of the brain * moodwise, we're getting there
Cons:
* the cogwheels seem somewhat out of place. if they're not part of some sort of machinery, they're redundant. * there's too many chimneys and steamvents. One of each should do... * I don't get the tracks * the crumbling effect on the main chimney doesn't appeal to me
neutrals:
* I'm not sure yet whether I like the smoking 'i' in 'Inc'... I think I'm starting to like it though... * I'd like to see a few designs in white on black, or white on a solid backgroundcolor...
Anyways... I applaud your efforts!
