Our team is at a standstill they like your logo, but feel we need to have more explanation. We have Machine/Welding/Fabrication on other logos explaining what we do. Not sure if you could incorporate that somehow?

I highlighted the slogan lettering instead, for lighter blue backgrounds. The red text becomes less readable on lighter blue backgrounds. Hope you'd still like them.
