Building more darker

Can you make the grey bars the same width as they were in #275? I liked the overall shape of that better. And then I'm wondering about darkening the buildings to make them stand out more. Thanks!

Kind of like this, that's where the lines will end on the inside of the f but instead of a straight roof that creates, I want it to be at a slant so the lines should start at the top outer corners of the F's.

Almost! It just needs two diagonal white lines. If you go from the top left corner of the f, draw a thin white line at about a 45 degree angle with the side and then it will connect to the inside corner of the f. Then do the same for the real side reversed. The end look will be like a slanted roof. Does that make sense.

Oh I just realized that white line separating the grey and color has always been there. So I think that's fine staying then.

This is a lot closer! I don't think I explained the diagonal line well. The line separating the lower arm of the f with the side of it is good but instead of the straight line separating the upper arm, I want that diagonal to the outside corner of the f so it's like a slanted roof. And then there doesn't need to be the white line in between the grey and the color (I think that's what you thought I meant by the diagonal line). You'll probably have to move the windows down some to accommodate the diagonal line. Let's see what that looks like. Thank you!

I still love this one and I'm getting mostly good feedback on it, the only thing I'm thinking and others are saying is it doesn't communicate the apartment buildings so I'd like to see some more variations on that idea. One idea I just had is what if you turned the vertical lines of the two f's into high rise buildings with slanted roofs? You could separate it from the rest of the letter by putting a thin break in between the vertical lines and the arms of the f's and then have another diagonal break from the outer top corners to the inner corner so it makes it like a slanted roof at the top. And then add little square windows to turn them into buildings. I hope that makes sense, let me know if you need any clarification. And if you have other ideas please send them over as well. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the new entries, I still like this best. One thing I would like to see is this same design but make the text greyscale so keep multi the dark grey, change family to the lighter grey in the icon and then change films to the dark grey and the lines to the light grey. Thank you!

In obsessed with everything about the icon. I think this might be the way to go, the buildings make it a little overwhelming. I'll get feedback on it from others. The font is much better, I think multifamily could be a bit small and films a little bigger. And I wonder how multifamily would look lowercase. Maybe with multi less bold for contrast. And I think the text could even be in grey so the icon really pops. Oh and just a little more line spacing between multifamily and films and I think lines on either side of films might look good. Thank you for everything, I love this!

I'm actually back to liking this best I think, but if you could add the play button of #150 and change the font to something like Avenir Next Bold for multifamily and Avenir Next Regular or Ultralight for films. Slighy more like spacing between the two and slightly less tracking on films. And I'm thinking for the building concept maybe adding little white square windows down the sides of both f's to look like apartment buildings. Thanks!

Oh I really like this one! The only thing I don't like as much is how tall it is now, so if you either shorten he buildings or make them smaller all around and add two more on the sides so it's shorter and wider. And I actually like what you did with the play button, I'm just not sure it's prominent enough so I'm wondering about putting it in between the f's inside a circle. And I'm still not sure about the font. One font I use mostly for titles in my videos is Avenir Next so try something like that, bold for multifamily and regular or ultralight for films. This one is a clear front runner. Thank you!

This one is great! I'd like to see the icon bigger and the multifamily font not so wide, maybe smaller but slightly bolder. And then films also not quite as wide. And I'd still like to see some sort of play button and maybe apartment building symbolism. Thank you!

I love this! I'm thinking probably more of a square layout overall rather than the horizontal so you could put the text under the icon and have multifamily on one line and films underneath. The font looks a little generic so something more stylish, maybe do films thinner and tracked out a little bit with lines on either side of it when it's under multifamily. And then I want to somehow incorporate the video and apartment building elements so I like the idea of a triangle play button somewhere, maybe over the top like an accent, and maybe the sides of the f's could become buildings with little square windows or something like that. Thank you!
